Tesla will soon be equipped with Grok Ai ?

Elon Musk has been somewhat reserved regarding the redesign of the Model Y, but the eccentric Tesla CEO continues to have innovative ideas for his brand. During a live stream on X, he confirmed that Tesla cars will soon be equipped with Grok, marking an important milestone for the intelligent voice assistant developed by xAI.

The unique feature of Grok is its ability to access real-time information via the X platform, distinguishing it from other tools like ChatGPT, Gemini, or Claude. Musk explained that in Tesla vehicles, drivers will be able to talk to their cars and “ask anything.” Grok is expected to handle voice commands more naturally, eliminating the need for specific syntax to control air conditioning, navigation, multimedia, or settings.

Processing will occur via Tesla or xAI servers rather than locally in the vehicle, which could allow widespread availability across the Tesla fleet. Currently, Musk states that all models with Intel and Ryzen chips will be compatible, though the situation remains unclear for those with MCU 1. Starting late 2024, Grok will be free for all X users with certain limitations, while premium offers will provide enhanced access. Tesla may follow suit by including Grok access in its Premium Connectivity plan, as a strategy against the rise of Chinese firms.
