Dynatomics is the name of the new AI startup reportedly launched by Larry Page, the co-founder of Google.
According to The Information, Page is working with a small team of engineers on an AI capable of enhancing manufacturing processes by automating product design. This tool could, thanks to large language models, "create highly optimized designs for a wide variety of objects and then ensure a factory builds them," the media outlet states.
Page is no stranger to ventures, having previously invested in Kitty Hawk, a startup focused on flying cars, which ultimately shut down in 2022. Chris Anderson, the former CTO of Kitty Hawk, will lead the Dynamotics team. Other companies are also utilizing AI to enhance manufacturing processes, such as Orbital Materials and PhysX, while Instrumental focuses on AI vision to detect anomalies in production lines.
