The German giant Mercedes-Benz continues its major digital push by offering new features through its eponymous app on the Apple Watch.
To meet the demands of many customers, Mercedes has optimized its Apple Watch app by adding new functionalities. Owners of a Mercedes vehicle and an Apple watch can now interact with their vehicle without even having to handle their smartphone.
While it's not yet possible to drive a Mercedes vehicle directly from the Apple Watch, the Mercedes-Benz app allows users to check their vehicle's range based on its location and view the battery status. Additionally, users can accurately locate their vehicle on a map, lock or unlock the vehicle remotely, and ensure that the windows are closed properly after leaving the vehicle. The automaker aims to continue enhancing its "premium digital experience" while quickly addressing customer requests.
