Nintendo Switch 2: Finally, Real Information About Its Performance

As the world eagerly awaits April 2, the date when the Nintendo Switch 2 will be revealed in detail to the public, rumors continue to circulate online about the device. These speculations come not only from overly curious internet users but also from government bodies such as the FCC (Federal Communications Commission). The media outlet The Verge managed to extract some information regarding the console's performance through files uploaded by the commission.

It has been revealed that the Nintendo Switch 2 will support several technologies, including NFC. This technology is used for contactless payments on smartphones and will also be utilized for the Amiibo feature on the console. Additionally, an extra USB-C port located at the top of the console will serve to charge the Nintendo Switch 2.

The documents indicate that the Nintendo Switch 2 will be compatible with WiFi 6, which is an improvement over its predecessor, but still falls short of current standards like WiFi 7. However, this places the console on par with competitors like the PS5, while the Xbox Series only supports WiFi 5. Despite these connectivity updates, there is still no official news regarding the internal performance of the Nintendo Switch 2.
