The lawsuit, filed in a federal court in Missouri, where the Altman family grew up, alleges that the abuse occurred between 1997 and 2006, starting when Ann was just 3 years old and Sam was 12. The alleged incidents continued until Sam turned 18.
Ann is seeking damages for "severe emotional distress" caused by the alleged abuse, which she claims has prevented her from leading a "normal life." In response, Sam Altman and his family state that Ann has a history of mental health issues and emphasize that these accusations are not new. They express that the situation is causing immense pain for the entire family.
