iPhone: Apple plans a complete overhaul of its operating systems

Apple is set to make one of its biggest changes in a decade. According to Bloomberg, the company is planning a radical redesign of its operating systems: iOS for iPhone, iPadOS for tablets, and macOS for computers.

This change is expected by the end of 2025 with the arrival of iOS 19, which may be announced in June at Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference. The update aims to change the "style of icons, menus, applications, windows, and system buttons."

The new design could be "vaguely" inspired by visionOS, the operating system for the Vision Pro, featuring circular icons. This update is anticipated to be the most significant since iOS 7 in 2013 and aims to provide "more consistency" across Apple products.
